Supplier Code of Conduct

This Supplier Code of Conduct ("Code") outlines the minimum standards that Security Guard Group Limited ("SGGL") expects from our suppliers, contractors, and business partners ("Suppliers") to ensure a responsible and ethical business environment. Adherence to these standards is fundamental for establishing and continuing business with SGGL.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

All suppliers must comply with all applicable local and national laws, regulations, and standards in the countries they operate in. This includes, but is not limited to, laws related to labour, health and safety, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.

2. Labour Standards:

We expect our suppliers to respect the rights of their workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

• Non-Discrimination and Harassment: Suppliers must not engage in discrimination based on race, colour, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Harassment, bullying, or any other form of abuse will not be tolerated. Additionally, SGGL encourages fair treatment and an inclusive workplace.

• Child Labour: Suppliers must not employ underage workers in violation of local minimum working age laws or engage in exploitative practices.

• Fair Compensation: Suppliers must provide fair wages and benefits that meet or exceed the legal minimum standards or the prevailing industry standards, whichever is higher.

• Freedom of Association: Suppliers should respect the rights of workers to join or form trade unions and bargain collectively, in accordance with local laws.

3. Health and Safety:

Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy work environment and take reasonable steps to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases.

4. Environmental Stewardship:

Suppliers should operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This includes minimizing waste, reducing energy usage, properly handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and actively working to reduce their carbon footprint. Suppliers are encouraged to implement sustainable practices that actively reduce environmental impact through innovation.

5. Ethical Business Practices:

• Anti-Corruption: Suppliers must not engage in any form of corruption, bribery, embezzlement, or extortion.

• Fair Competition: Suppliers must adhere to fair business practices, including fair competition and accurate marketing.

• Confidentiality and Privacy: Suppliers must respect and protect the confidential information of SGGL and the privacy of individuals, implementing appropriate safeguards as necessary. Compliance with applicable data privacy laws and SGGL’s data handling policies is required.

6. Conflict of Interest:

Suppliers must avoid any interaction or relationship with SGGL employees that could impair, or appear to impair, their ability to perform their duties or influence business decisions. Suppliers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest to SGGL.

7. Management Systems and Reporting:

Suppliers should have management systems in place to ensure compliance with this Code, applicable laws, and standards. Suppliers must report any known or suspected violations of this Code to SGGL.

8. Audits and Inspections:

Suppliers must allow SGGL and/or any of its representatives or agents to perform reasonable audits and inspections necessary to ensure compliance with this Code.

Failure to comply with this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in the termination of the business relationship with SGGL. This Code is not intended to replace broader or more specific laws and regulations. Wherever this Code and applicable laws and regulations differ or conflict, the higher standard should be applied. We thank all our suppliers for their commitment to these principles.
